Son, they are scared to take God’s medicine, because they think what if it is not going to work.
They are scared, because they are afraid to die!
See
Son…
people
in
this
modern
day
think
that
medicine
from
nature
is
inferior.
Yes
they
do
get
that
our
ancestors
valued
herbs
a
lot
way
back
then,
simply
because
they
did
not
have
the
modern
facilities
we
have
now.
They
see
herbs
as
old
school,
primitive
and
archaic
and
opt
for
the
more
sophisticated
world
of
‘intelligent’
medicine.
What
the
Bible
says
below
about
the
figurative
“leaves
of
the
tree”
has
no
association with literal medicine to them.
Revelation 22:2
“down
the
middle
of
the
great
street
of
the
city.
On
each
side
of
the
river
stood
the
tree
of
life,
bearing
twelve
crops
of
fruit,
yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.”
– New International Version
Yes,
this
verse
indeed
handles
about
Christ
being
the
“Tree
of
Life”.
But
there
is
more.
The
very
Christ
being
this
Tree,
is
the
One
who
designed
the
leaves
in
the
literal
sense
with
all
their
divine
contents
in
divine
formulations.
Master
pieces
of
such
elegance
and
holy
ingeniousness around the world… in order for ALL people to stay healthy.
Indigenous
people
around
the
world
are
indeed
kept
healthy
and
without
literacy
they
know
exactly
which
leaves
helped
for
which
ailments.
But…
alas…
these
people
are
arrogantly
seen
today
as
being
primitive.
The
fact
that
their
children
are
happy-,
well-adapted-
and
content children never crosses the minds of the ‘civilized intelligentsia’.
Matthew 11:25
“At
that
time
Jesus
said,
"I
praise
you,
Father,
Lord
of
heaven
and
earth,
because
you
have
hidden
these
things
from
the
wise
and learned, and revealed them to little children.”
– New International Version
Too
many
children
of
the
“learned”
are
sick
little
individuals
at
levels
of
astronomical
proportions
in
this
western
world.
And
sick
children
run the risk of becoming sick adults. We must just look around us.
Jesus loves the simple, the humble… and the down-trodden. The Bible is saturated with examples.
People
in
this
modern
day
put
a
very
high
premium
on
the
medical
academy
and
totally
rely
upon
allopathic
medicine
to
heal
them.
They
are
so
programmed
to
believe
that
academic
credentials
are
the
criteria
for
wisdom
and
it
does
not
even
bother
them
that
God
is
not
mentioned anywhere in clinical research papers. He does not get credit for anything in that realm.
But
when
Saturdays
or
Sundays
come…
then
all
of
a
sudden
He
gets
attention
for
whichever
purpose.
What
they
in
effect
do
is
worshiping
two masters.
Matthew 6:24
“"No
one
can
serve
two
masters.
Either
you
will
hate
the
one
and
love
the
other,
or
you
will
be
devoted
to
the
one
and
despise
the other…. ”
– New International Version
However
much
they
would
like
to
dispute
this,
they
will
not
be
able
to…
simply
because
they
do
not
TRUST
God’s
medicine.
And
what
is
trust
none
other
than
belief?
Did
Abraham
put
his
trust
in
God?
Yes.
He
even
trusted
God
to
the
extent
that
God
would
resurrect
Isaac
from
death
to
life
again…
something
so
not
in
the
paradigm
in
the
time
of
Abraham.
Abraham
waited
25
years
for
Isaac,
the
fulfilment
of
God’s promise to him. Everything is predestined… everything.
Can
you
just
imagine
the
agony
he
went
through
on
his
way
up
the
mountain
to
sacrifice
this
long-awaited
son?
All
the
years
waiting
for
Isaac…
and
on
top
of
that…
now
having
to
kill
him.
But,
he
trusted
God
to
the
ultimate,
knowing
God
would
keep
His
promise
to
him.
His
trust
paid
off…
just
in
time…
God’s
time.
Abraham
was
tried
to
the
edge
and
in
the
last
moment
God
provided
the
way
out…
just
as
He
promised in His Word to ALL readers…
1 Corinthians 10:13
“No
trial
has
overtaken
you
that
is
not
faced
by
others.
And
God
is
faithful:
He
will
not
let
you
be
tried
beyond
what
you
are
able
to bear, but with the trial will also provide a way out so that you may be able to endure it.“
– Net Bible
Abraham
is
the
prototype
of
faith
in
the
Bible.
It
is
ALL
about
trust
in
the
God
of
Abraham,
Isaac
and
Jacob.
The
Strong’s
number
used
in
the original Greek is
4100
. pisteuó - πιστεύω . It means I believe, I have faith in, I trust in.
Do
‘Christians’
trust
the
God
of
the
Bible
with
their
lives
today
like
Abraham?
Are
they
willing
to
trust
God’s
medicine,
in
spite
of
the
possibility
of
dying
nevertheless,
but
having
the
assurance
of
God’s
promise
of
everlasting
life
to
those
who
believe?
It
does
not
seem
to
be the case, taken into account the reality of illness across all religious borders… ‘Christianity’ included.
And
another
thing…
do
‘Christians’
see
believing
God
as
obedience
to
God?
Do
they
know
about
the
law
of
obedience,
the
second
law
of
grace… and the implication it has on entering God’s rest? Let’s see what
Hebrews 3:18-19
says…
Hebrews 3:18-19
“
18
And
to
whom
did
God
swear
that
they
would
never
enter
his
rest
if
not
to
those
who
disobeyed?
19
So
we
see
that
they
were
not able to enter, because of their unbelief.
– New International Version
Jesus
clearly
says
in
His
Word
that
we
must
come
to
Him
with
all
our
burdens
and
challenges.
Full
stop.
We
must
believe
in
Him.
He
never
said go to so and so. No, this is a command… and obedience to this command leads to calmness and rest.
Matthews 11:28
“"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
– New International Version
People
seemingly
never
think
of
the
immense
importance
of
true
faith
around
Christ.
The
“what”
faith
around
Him
that
brings
the
rest
and
peace. But this is a mega big subject for another time.
Why are they so scared to take
God’s Medicine? Tell them Papa.
Why are they so scared to take
God’s medicine?
